Quality Assurance Software Engineer

Position Overview

In this role at Fidelity Investments, you will find an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer who possesses robust software development capabilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring exceptional quality throughout all phases of application delivery and actively contributing to the improvement of the team's test automation framework. You will be an integral member of a dynamic Scrum team within Fidelity's Contact Center & Data Excellence division.

Required Expertise and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance roles
  • Proven experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies
  • Strong technical proficiency (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Jenkins, SQL)
  • Experience in testing distributed systems and microservices interactions
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Karate, Playwright)
  • Commitment to delivering value to end users
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Agile environment with global teams
  • Strong technical acumen and an engineering-oriented mindset
  • Capability to adapt to new technologies and learn internal systems

Team Dynamics

The ideal candidate is a quality-driven professional with extensive experience in quality assurance within an agile environment, collaborating across various global locations. Within the Workplace Investing - Quality Engineering group, you will focus on supporting desktop applications in the Contact Center, emphasizing UI and API functionalities.
