Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Holiday Station Stores - Workday. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of retail professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing store operations, including customer service, sales, and inventory management.
  • Lead a team of retail professionals, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for customers.
  • Manage store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating merchandise.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer complaints and issues in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and visual merchandising plans.
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
