We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permitting Project Manager to join our team at Habitat for Humanity of Pinellas. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all buildings permitting activities and plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Key Responsibilities- Permitting: Prepare and review plan packages for submittal and review for accuracy, complete building permit applications based on construction schedule, and coordinate and secure payment methods for additional permit applications.
- Coordination & Interpersonal Skills: Establish effective working relationships with staff, develop customer-focused teams, and manage external customer relationships.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain all building-related permitting documents, upload and manage permit documents in software management systems, and prepare and distribute approved plans and specifications to construction teams.
- Qualifications: One year's experience in residential construction, high school equivalent, and valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Certification & Licensure: Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and sexual offender check.
- Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, and speak English fluently.
- Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts, and solve practical problems.
- Computer/Equipment Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and PROCORE.
The Permitting Project Manager will work in a fast-paced construction environment, with occasional travel to local permitting offices and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
