Job Summary

Gutridge LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial electrical projects, schedules, expenses, budgets, and change orders from award of contract to completion.
  • Award job packages, including electrical, lighting, fire alarm, and other related services.
  • Set goals for yourself and team leaders, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
  • Maintain manpower schedules and estimated profit margins.
  • Problem-solve and identify solutions in a timely manner, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, coordinate projects, and communicate changes and progress to stakeholders.
  • Manage project team activities, ensuring the successful completion of projects.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer needs and soliciting feedback to improve service.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring the successful completion of projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or seven years of related experience and/or training.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable means of transportation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to loud machinery and equipment. The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly and without assistance is also required.
