Job Summary:

The Project Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of the CHDO Essential Housing program in the Austin, TX market. This position will be a long-term temporary position, due to alignment with implementation of this program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate new and existing residents to determine eligibility for the CHDO program
• Use the telephone professionally and effectively for leasing
• Greet, show, and lease to qualified prospects
• Thoroughly understand the daily, weekly and monthly leasing traffic reports
• Coordinate move-in dates with the Community Manager
• Thoroughly understand and abide by all Fair Housing Laws
• Achieve and maintain an average closing ratio of 50% or better
• Maintain a working relationship with a referral agencies including businesses and merchants
• Set up folders and checklists
• Complete internal checklist and update needs throughout the onboarding process
• Track all incoming data and file accordingly
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Property management experience preferred
• Must be bilingual in English and Spanish
• Knowledge of Entrata
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Detail oriented, organized, and thorough
• Collaborates well with team members
• Effective and efficient time management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with high initiative, flexibility, and team approach to work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude
