Nurse Care Coordinator

The Novant Health team is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a leader of the healthcare team at our facility. As a key member of our team, you will establish authentic, personalized relationships with patients and their support systems, collaborating with physicians and other team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans that promote optimal health or a comforting peaceful death.
The successful candidate will utilize the best scientific evidence and compassion to assist patients in navigating their health journey. This includes accepting responsibility, authority, and accountability for the management and provision of care in accordance with current policies and procedures.

To be considered for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or GED, with a preferred 4-year Bachelor's Degree. A Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required, and if your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired, or lapsed for five years or more, you must complete a Board-approved refresher course prior to reactivating or reinstating your license.
Our ideal candidate will have one year of critical care experience and current RN licensure in the appropriate state. ACLS certification is also required. Additional skills include the ability to manage ventilators, titratable BP support medication, and knowledge of EKG rhythms. Previous applicable progressive/telemetry and/or critical care/neuro clinical experience is preferred.
