Key Responsibilities- Conduct eligibility interviews and review program requirements to ensure clients meet the necessary criteria.
- Apply processing standards and educate clients on program standards to ensure compliance.
- Follow established guidelines for customer service and cultural competency to provide exceptional support to clients.
- Prepare and submit reports to complete data collection and entry into SC WIC.
- Validate and issue food instruments (FI) and Farmer's Market checks.
- Attend relevant program and agency training and meetings to stay up-to-date on the latest developments.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a high school diploma.
- Two years of medical office/clinical clerical office experience, including public contact, is preferred.
- Advanced computer skills and office equipment knowledge are essential.
- One year of experience with electronic health and medical records is a plus.
