This position reports to

Project Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this position, you will manage the backlog of Lighting Panels orders within the Electrification Smart Power sector in North America, providing clear directives, tasks, and milestones while inspiring and offering constructive feedback. You will enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that all customer requirements and targets are met, delivering exceptional service throughout the entire process. The work model for this role is: Onsite. Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Overseeing local Master Schedule Planners and Material Planners, communicating expected delivery timelines based on customer needs and organizational capabilities.
• Supervising local Operations Planners, Master Schedule Planners, and Material Planners in processing orders that require expedited handling, ensuring 100% on-time delivery for these requests.
• Monitoring backlog to implement best practices in cost management, resource optimization, and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance.
• Ensuring adherence to schedules to identify issues that may threaten timely shipments, proactively communicating any unavoidable delays to customers.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering discipline, along with a minimum of 6 years of experience in the fabrication of electrical products, particularly in project execution roles with direct customer engagement in the electrical sector.
  • Proven experience in managing project scope, costs, schedules, and coordination within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office.
  • A collaborative, solution-oriented mindset, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Candidates must possess valid work authorization to be employed by ABB in the US.
