Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Team Member to join our Fresh Foods Distribution team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of fresh produce and groceries to our stores.

Responsibilities:

* Clean and maintain the department area, including equipment, containers, and storage areas
* Receive, open, and unpack cartons and crates of merchandise, checking invoices against items received
* Unload products from delivery trucks and transport them to the sales floor or storage area
* Pick produce and grocery orders to be delivered to Fresh Foods stores
* Package merchandise according to departmental guidelines
* Maintain and operate equipment, such as electric jacks and forklifts
* Perform general warehouse and property maintenance duties as needed

Requirements:

* Ability to successfully complete a DOT Physical and Drug Test as required by DOT regulations
* Valid Class C PA Driver's License
* Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, such as adding and subtracting using multiple digit numbers and units of weight and/or American currency

Working Conditions:

* The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extreme cold due to working in coolers

Physical Demands:

* The employee must be able to lift up to 80 pounds
