Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Produce Associate to join our team at Jerry's Foods Eden Prairie. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the sales and merchandising efforts of our produce department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment by restocking shelves, rotating products, and performing other tasks as needed.
  • Support the sales and merchandising efforts of our produce department by setting up displays, creating eye-catching visual merchandising, and promoting products to customers.
  • Assist with receiving and processing produce shipments, including inspecting products for quality and freshness.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a retail or produce-related role preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
  • Occasional climbing of ladders and use of equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

  • Frequent judgment and decision-making.
  • Frequent social interaction and communication with customers and team members.
  • Occasional math and calculation skills.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced retail environment with frequent customer interactions.
