Job Summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Imaging: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Imaging Procedures: Perform routine and advanced imaging procedures on designated body parts, utilizing dose reduction techniques as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect after each use, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within our Radiology Information System (RIS).
  • Department Support: Assist with maintaining updated imaging protocol manuals, software upgrades, and medical supply inventory.
Requirements:
  • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing
  • Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography
  • Licensed Radiological Technologist in the applicable state, if required
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Training and experience sufficient to competently perform diagnostic imaging procedures independently
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual
