Job Summary

Central Maine Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Financial Advocate to join our team. As a key member of our financial clearance process, you will play a critical role in ensuring patients receive exceptional care while meeting financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate patient costs and provide clear explanations of expected out-of-pocket expenses
  • Communicate with patients to review estimates, collect payments, and provide payment options
  • Collaborate with the financial clearance team to ensure timely completion of financial clearance processes
  • Document and report completion of financial clearance processes accurately
  • Engage management to address issues or concerns that impact deadlines or financial payment expectations
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in financial assistance and insurance plans
  • Ability to navigate various websites and applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities
