Job Overview

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Financial Associate to join our esteemed team at LINE DC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong enthusiasm for the hospitality sector and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster effective communication and collaboration with team members and various departments within the organization.
  2. Review and authenticate invoices, check requests, and expense documentation.
  3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, confirming necessary approvals and supporting documents are in place.
  4. Prepare batches of invoices for processing within accounting systems.
  5. Accurately input invoices for timely payment, ensuring expenses are recorded in the appropriate accounting period.
  6. Oversee weekly payment runs and liaise with the Finance Director to monitor cash flow.
  7. Generate and distribute vendor payments.
  8. Record electronic payments and manage the reconciliation of credit card transactions.
  9. Maintain and analyze accounts payable and receivable aging reports.
  10. Oversee the general ledger, making necessary adjustments and journal entries for accruals.
  11. Organize workspace and vendor documentation effectively.
  12. Keep accounts payable records current to facilitate efficient research.
  13. Reconcile vendor statements and assist in resolving discrepancies, including obtaining missing invoices.
  14. Communicate with vendors, address inquiries, and nurture positive vendor relationships.
  15. Handle cash transactions for the organization and reconcile cash deposits.
  16. Post payments in the property management system, ensuring accurate billing of all accounts.
  17. Manage follow-up billing and credit collection processes, informing the Finance Director of any potential uncollectible accounts.
  18. Assist with the preparation of reimbursable invoices.
  19. Establish new accounts in line with the credit policy.
  20. Facilitate month-end and year-end closing processes for accounts payable and receivable.
  21. Support the accounting team during month-end closing activities.
  22. Prepare and distribute annual 1099 forms.
  23. Engage in the management of the Purchase Order System and adhere to corporate policies.
  24. Participate in departmental and administrative meetings as required.
Essential Qualifications
  1. A college degree is preferred.
  2. Two years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, with a total of 2-10 years in related fields.
  3. Experience in the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  4. Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  5. Exceptional organizational abilities.
  6. Meticulous attention to detail.
  7. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  8. Strong communication skills.
  9. Ability to navigate various accounting systems.
  10. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with accounting software.
  11. Able to perform well under pressure and work collaboratively within a team.
