LPN Medication Care Manager

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are committed to providing high-quality care and services to our residents. As an LPN Medication Care Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to our residents.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner.
- Review and document medication administration records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse to ensure medication updates and changes are implemented promptly.
- Conduct regular audits of medication carts and treatment areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Individualized Care Plans (ICPs) to ensure resident-centered care.
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Previous experience working with seniors and administering medications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information with discretion.
