About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer II to join our team in Danvers, Massachusetts. In this role, you'll be responsible for procuring and providing technical support for new product designs and process improvements. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve desired results and contribute to the development of innovative technologies that transform lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine specific requirements of manufacturing operations to specify equipment and fixturing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to design and fulfill equipment and fixturing requirements.
  • Develop plans to evaluate process repeatability and stability through equipment qualification and process validation.
  • Improve manufacturing methods, optimize product performance, and reduce manufacturing costs in a systematic fashion.
  • Deploy Lean 6 Sigma methodology to identify and evaluate opportunities for improvement in manufacturing processes.
  • Develop and optimize work design, manufacturing layout, and product flow using Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Define and generate all required documentation in support of manufacturing protocols, reports, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with GMPs and internal protocols.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or completion of an advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Vendor experience identifying and procuring equipment.
  • Demonstrated computer skills in Solidworks, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Statistics.
  • Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, or other Regulated Industry.
  • Working knowledge of Design of Experiments and familiarity with Statistical software such as Minitab.
  • Experience in process and equipment validation.

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (excluding Puerto Rico): $79,200.00 - $118,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
