Key Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical and administrative duties to support efficient clinic flow and effective patient care
- Take medical histories, capture and document patient vital signs, and update patient medical records
- Assist with preparing patients for examinations and document all information in patient medical records
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to patients, families, and other care providers
- Support delivery of high-quality patient experience through excellent customer service and communication
Qualifications:
- Diploma from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- MA certification required; if not currently certified, certification must be obtained within 6 months to 1 year dependent on state requirements
- 1+ years' experience in office-based setting preferred
- CPR certification required
- Ability to maintain OSHA standards and HIPAA regulations
