Salary Range

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities

The ROCC Technical Assistant will provide support to MRI Steering Technologists, Radiologists, and administrative staff to ensure optimal MRI safety and patient care. This includes conveying patient history, assisting with coil positioning, patient screening, and observation during exams.

  • Assist MRI technologists in preparing patients for exams, including setting up coils and ensuring patient safety.
  • Support technologists with procedures as needed, such as schedule maintenance and cleanup of the MRI suite.
  • Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and patient health information.
  • Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain professional behavior towards patients and coworkers.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Completion of an approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, public relations, and verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to assist in lifting patients onto the table.
