Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team at the County of Ventura. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with feeding and bathing. They will also be involved in maintaining a safe environment, transporting patients, and performing other related duties as required.

You should also be physically fit, with the ability to stand for long periods, lift patients and equipment, and move quickly and safely in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of three months of experience in a licensed nursing facility or other comparable work experience. The successful candidate must have a valid Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certificate prior to the first day of employment and maintain it thereafter.
