Job Summary:
The Staff RN is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department at Marshall Medical Center. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and a passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
Requirements:
- Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification strongly preferred within 6 months of hire.
- Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) certification strongly preferred within 2 years of hire.
- Trauma Nursing Core Courses (TNCC) certification required within 1 year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ER experience preferred.
- Per Diem status positions, 2+ years Emergency department experience is strongly preferred.

The Staff RN will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to high-stress situations. The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure is essential for success in this role.
