Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Exploration Engineer to join our team in Van Horn, TX. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing efficient systems and processes to support our mission to explore space.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering or a related field, with experience in designing and optimizing complex systems. You will be responsible for conducting time studies, work sampling, facility layout, statistical analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and manufacturing process design.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement efficient systems and processes to support space exploration missions
  • Conduct time studies, work sampling, and statistical analysis to optimize system performance
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation of designs, specifications, and test results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in designing and optimizing complex systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $69,840-$97,776, depending on location. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match, and an education support program. Paid time off includes up to four weeks per year based on weekly scheduled hours, and up to 14 company-paid holidays. Discretionary bonus: Bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
