Salary and Benefits

As a Flight Software Engineer at True Anomaly, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from $123,500 to $155,500 based on location, with Denver, CO being one of our primary locations. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including equity options, health, dental, and vision insurance, HRA/HSA options, paid time off, parental leave, and a 401(k) plan.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Flight Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for space missions. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the software development cycle, integrating complex GNC algorithms with flight software, collaborating with ground C2 software teams, and developing reusable device drivers/interfaces and communications protocol libraries for flight hardware.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in low-level firmware architecture, design, and development. You should also possess expertise in embedded RTOS such as RTLinux or Azure RTOS, familiarity with common protocols like Ethernet, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS422, RS485, and proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, Rust, and Zig. Preferred skills include experience with FSW development for space applications, version control, continuous integration, and delivery concepts, as well as embedded Linux and networking protocols.
