Job Description

IntelliPro Group Inc. is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, good verbal communication skills, and the ability to work within a given budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compare prices amongst various vendors to make sound purchasing decisions
  • Work within a given budget to purchase goods and services for the organization
  • Ensure timely delivery of products and satisfactory quality of goods received
  • Negotiate with contractors on price, mode of shipping, and delivery time
  • Order goods such as office supplies to maintain inventory levels
  • Check invoices for accuracy and authorize payment
  • Evaluate vendor performance to decide whether to continue buying from them
  • Verify end-to-end processes
  • Enter data concerning inventory and order amounts into a computer database

Requirements:

  • Possess strong negotiation skills
  • Have good verbal communication skills
  • Be timely in following up on contracts and checking on backordered items
  • Be capable of staying within a given budget
  • Have good math skills and quickly calculate the cost of goods and services
  • Be trustworthy and not abuse authority or misappropriate funds

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Bilingual English and Chinese
  • 2+ years of procurement experience

Pay: $25.48 - $32.00 per hour
