Job Summary

Randstad US is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and experience with accounts payable processes, construction accounting practices, lien waivers, subcontractor agreements, and job costing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume accounts payable transactions, including coding, matching, and entering vendor invoices.
  • Prepare and process electronic payments, checks, ACH transactions, and wire transfers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Manage lien waivers, retainage payments, AIA and subcontractor agreements.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in accounts payable
  • Experience with construction accounting practices and lien waivers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
