Job Title: Technical Designer

Job Summary:

  • Produce accurate technical and contract documentation using Revit
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure design intent is reflected in construction documentation
  • Participate in construction administration and maintain quality control
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to meet project objectives
  • Create 3D renderings to communicate design concepts
  • Handle interior design assignments from programming client needs to construction documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet client needs and project objectives
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in construction documentation
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of technical documentation
  • Collaborate with consultants and contractors to resolve design and construction issues
  • Communicate design concepts and ideas through 3D renderings and other visual aids
  • Manage and coordinate interior design assignments from programming to construction documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Master of Architecture preferred
  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in Revit and Rhino
  • Knowledge of local building codes and sustainable building practices
  • Experience in construction document preparation and field observation
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability
