Compensation

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $16.50 to $23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Culinary Specialist to join our team at our Canistota, SD location. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare, assemble, and cook baked goods, meals, and snacks according to standardized recipes and menu guidelines.
  • Maintain food quality standards by adhering to sanitation, temperature, and presentation requirements.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, kettles, combination ovens, and more.
  • Clean and sanitize cooking and serving areas to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with internal customers to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work atmosphere.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Basic math skills to measure ingredients accurately.
  • Minimum six months of applicable experience in the culinary field.
