Our facility in Canistota, SD, offers a range of services and amenities to support the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our residents.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and presentation, with a strong focus on ensuring patient satisfaction and dietary requirements are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and cooking meals according to standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate records of food storage, handling, and disposal
  • Working collaboratively with internal customers to meet their dietary needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months of applicable experience in food preparation and service
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with basic math principles and ability to measure ingredients accurately
