The role involves assisting in the organization and execution of recruitment events at Liberty University. You will play a vital support role in various sub-events that occur during each recruitment initiative.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks related to the planning and production of recruitment events, including:
- Managing email communications and overseeing inventory.
- Supervising and scheduling Christian/Community Service (CSER) volunteers.
- Preparing logistics and supporting the execution of events on the day they occur.
- Conducting website audits and providing assistance in CSER training.
- Supporting the Event Coordinator team and fulfilling additional duties as assigned.
- Serve as a professional representative of Liberty University's student body.
- Create a welcoming first impression of the university.
- Assist in the execution of on-campus events.
- Engage with various auxiliary support offices for event planning needs as required.
- Participate in organizing and facilitating events for prospective students, including College For A Weekend and ExperienceLU.
- Support Event Coordinators in completing tasks assigned by the Director of On-Campus Recruitment Events.
- Engage in training sessions as necessary.
- Complete various projects and tasks related to event support.
- Must be an actively enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at Liberty University, having completed at least one semester.
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate university vehicles.
- Maintain a positive driving record and be able to pass a driving test.
- Familiarity with academic programs and campus life is essential.
- Current cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook) is expected.
- Strong organizational and listening skills are important.
- Must possess an outgoing and positive demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and during on-campus events is required.
- Commitment to working for at least two academic semesters is essential.
