Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse

At Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we are committed to providing the highest level of care for critically ill patients. As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering family-centered, multidisciplinary care to our young patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate care according to patient-specific needs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Follow hospital policies and procedures for handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment
Requirements:
  • 1+ year experience as a PICU RN
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • Broad knowledge of patient care principles and equipment
  • Ability to assess effectiveness of patient care and maintain a calm demeanor in crises
Education and Licensure:
  • BSN required
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California
  • Current American Heart Association CPR certification
  • Current American Heart Association PALS card
