Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at Summit Hospitality Group. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run audit reports and journals from Front Office Systems to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare daily revenue reports by auditing system accounts and journals to breakdown revenue for food and beverage operations.
  • Maintain files and reset systems for the next day's operation, ensuring all necessary documents and reports are complete and filed promptly.
  • Review and correct discrepancies in the Front Desk System, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
  • Check-in and check-out guests, complete guest registration process, and verify and imprint guest credit cards for authorization.
  • Assign guests rooms based on preferences and availability, and drive the Revenue Management process.
  • Handle guest issues and concerns in a tactful manner, and work to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
  • Answer questions regarding hotel facilities and services, and provide recommendations for local area restaurants, points of interest, or needs for transportation.
Requirements
  • Two years previous experience as a Night Auditor for a name brand hotel chain, preferably Marriott, Hilton, or Hyatt.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and quickly change direction as needs arise.
  • Working knowledge of FOSSE, OPERA, HILTON ONQ, Microsoft programs, and Micros Restaurant Management System.
  • Able to diagnose and repair simple computer problems, and skilled in math with the ability to operate a 10-key by touch.
  • Exceptional knowledge in accounting operations, including all aspects of A/R, A/P, etc.
Work Environment
  • Must have reliable source of transportation, and be flexible with work schedule including weekends.
  • Sitting, standing, reaching, bending for extended periods of time.
Benefits

Full-time employees are eligible for personal time after 90 days, insurance benefits after 90 days, and vacation time after one year.
