Job Title: Dietetic Technician

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dietetic Technician to join our team. As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition care services to patients and families, working closely with registered dietitians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nutrition assessments of patients and develop personalized nutrition plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Implement and monitor nutritional interventions, including enteral feeding and human milk management.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on nutrition and lactation topics.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Dietetic Technician-Registered (DTR) certification within 9 months of hire.
  • Basic knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and nutrient analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
