Position Overview:

Qualifications:
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in physical therapy
- Valid license to practice physical therapy in Texas
- Experience working with pediatric patients is essential (New graduates must have at least 6 weeks of pediatric experience, which may include internships)
- Preferred experience in home health settings
- Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous
- Must possess valid auto insurance and a driver's license.
- Deliver expert physical therapy services in the home or daytime facilities for patients aged 0-21, multiple times per week, following physician directives
- Assess the degree and nature of physical and gross motor impairments by selecting and administering appropriate evaluation tools
- Analyze diagnostic information and compile written reports
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to establish and assess goals for each patient, while providing guidance and training on specific physical therapy techniques and interventions
- Adapt care plans to align with the objectives of physical therapy interventions
- Educate caregivers, staff, and patients by developing and presenting training sessions, resources, and in-service programs in line with the comprehensive physical therapy program
- May oversee Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
