Wound Care Opportunities at Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center
**Job Summary:**
Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Wound Care Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality skin care to our residents, with a focus on prevention and treatment of skin disorders.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct thorough assessments of residents' skin health and develop individualized care plans to address any skin-related issues
* Implement and evaluate wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and other interventions as needed
* Collaborate with the care planning team to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services
* Educate residents and caregivers on skin care techniques and strategies to prevent skin disorders
**Requirements:**
* Current Georgia RN or LPN license
* One year of experience in long-term care nursing, preferably with a focus on wound care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams
