Job Summary:

At LanceSoft, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team on a contingent basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Administer immunizations and injections, provide patient/parent vaccine counseling, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
  • Perform Point of Care testing, including COVID testing, and order equipment to prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.
  • Meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
  • Pass the FIT test and wear the provided respirator mask when protocol is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.

Education:
  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
