Heavy Motor Equipment Operator

Operates heavy motor equipment in a safe and efficient manner to perform assigned work. Loads and unloads trucks, picks up and hauls material, and performs minor maintenance tasks. Requires ability to work in close quarters and withstand outside environmental conditions. Must possess valid Massachusetts Class B driver's license and commercial driver's license (CDL).
Key Responsibilities:
- Operates heavy motor equipment to perform assigned work
- Loads and unloads trucks, picks up and hauls material
- Performs minor maintenance tasks, including greasing, oiling, and cleaning equipment
- Works in close quarters and withstands outside environmental conditions
- Must possess valid Massachusetts Class B driver's license and commercial driver's license (CDL)
Requirements:
- Ability to receive and interpret written and oral instructions
- Ability to give written and oral reports to supervisors
- Must be in good health and able to do hard physical work
- Must possess valid Massachusetts Class B driver's license and commercial driver's license (CDL)
Work Environment:
The work environment requires agility and physical strength, ability to function in close quarters, and is subject to outside environmental conditions, including wet, hot and cold weather.
