We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our hospice care team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including inpatient care and assisted living facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments and provide nursing care in accordance with established procedures and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- Assist with IV insertions, tube feedings, and other medical procedures, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
- Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Valid LVN license in the state of California.
- 2+ years of working experience as an LVN, with a focus on hospice care.
- Experience with homebase or similar software.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
