Emergency Response Specialist

Coweta County is seeking a qualified Firefighter/Paramedic to provide emergency medical services and participate in firefighting activities. The successful candidate will possess the necessary certifications and experience to perform intermediate protective service work, including fire suppression, basic and advanced life support, and hazardous materials handling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to alarms and assist in the suppression of fires, including rescue and hazardous materials incidents.
- Provide basic and advanced life support services, including patient assessment, stabilization, and treatment.
- Operate various medical and fire apparatus, including ambulances and fire trucks.
- Maintain records and reports related to operations, training, and professional development.
- Participate in continuing training and instruction programs to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Required Qualifications:
- Georgia Paramedic Certification
- Georgia Basic Firefighter Certification
- Possession of physical endurance and agility
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with medical personnel, law enforcement personnel, and other stakeholders
Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
