About the Role: As a Nurse Specialist - Acute Care Transition, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care in a variety of clinical settings. This 12-month program combines hands-on orientation with tailored didactic training, mentorship, and collaborative experiences to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized plans to improve quality and safety at the point of care
- Cultivate strong communication skills to engage with colleagues and support patients
- Promote peer and professional socialization through cohort experiences
- Learn didactic content specifically tailored to new graduates from professional nursing organizations
- Orient to opportunities available in Acute Care, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Transplant, Critical Care, Women's Services, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, and more

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive base pay: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (estimated)
- Shift and specialty differentials
- 401K (6% match after 1 year/1000 hours worked)

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
- BLS certification required
- Leadership skills, effective communication skills, initiative, independent judgment, ability to handle stressful environments
Additional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
