Commercial Roofer Position

We are seeking skilled Commercial Roofers and Laborers to work on demo, repairs, and installation of commercial rubber roofing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with EPDM, mop-down, and TPO systems.
Responsibilities:- Perform installation and repair of PVC and vinyl type flat roofs of commercial buildings.
- Cover roofs of structures with slate, asphalt, aluminum, wood, or related materials.
- Maintain proper safety codes and procedures to keep up with OSHA regulations.
- Use glazing, cement, or caulking to prevent water leakage and rust.
- Assist journeymen in performing tasks such as prepping roofs and carrying heavy materials.
- Apply alternate layers of roofing paper, cut roofing paper to size using knives, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Mop and pour hot asphalt and tar onto roof base while applying asphalt and tar and gravel to roof.
- 3-5 years previous experience in the commercial construction industry and knowledge of the materials, methods, and tools involved in the commercial construction field.
- Ability to accept direction and work as a team player.
- Demonstrate dependability to work a regular schedule including nontraditional hours including weekends.
- OSHA 10/OSHA 30 or willingness to undergo OSHA Safety Training.
