Job Description: As a Medical Assistant at San Jose Clinic, you will play a vital role in assisting medical staff with patient care. Your responsibilities will include performing clinical duties, triaging patient concerns, and communicating with patients and providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
  • Assist with patient examinations, procedures, and lab testing as needed.
  • Triage patient concerns via phone or electronic messaging.
  • Interview patients, take vital signs, and record information in patient charts.
  • Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
  • Perform various clinical tasks, including EKGs, spirometry, and specimen collection.
  • Ensure proper follow-up on voicemails and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • National Certified Medical Assisting (NCMA) certification.
  • Current CPR training.
  • Minimum 6 months experience in family practice or community health setting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on location and experience.
