Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various services and activities in support of patient care, including accurate data entry, insurance verification, and scheduling appointments.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in delivering superior medical care
  • Accurate data entry of charges on patient accounts, registering patients, and updating patient accounts
  • Insurance verification and recording of statistics
  • Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, and keeping providers informed of changes
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred
  • 1 year of medical office experience preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification in the state of employment required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Estimated Salary Range

$40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
