Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Facilities Operations Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. This role will be responsible for providing exceptional facilities services, ensuring the proper maintenance of our building, procurement of supplies, and daily site inspections.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide facilities services, including building maintenance, procurement of supplies, and daily site inspections.
  • Liaise with building maintenance teams and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Oversee budgets and create spreadsheets/tracking systems to manage Purchase Orders.
  • Create weekly activity and status reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Arrange conference room scheduling and provide support for equipment removal passes and visitor badges as needed.
Additional Day-to-Day Tasks:
  • Maintain the professional appearance of common areas and conference rooms.
  • Greet and assist all visitors, maintain company visitor sign-in books, and coordinate transportation and travel when necessary.
  • Order, track, and maintain inventory for break room and office supplies.
  • Handle user errors and questions in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with transitions and moves, coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships, coordinating service requests with property management and external vendors.
  • Use employee information applications to obtain employee data and conference room schedules.
  • Serve as an after-hours contact for property management.
  • Ensure overall office safety and security.
  • Deliver mail, handle outgoing and incoming mail delivery, and maintain mailroom organization.

Estimated Salary Range:

$45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
