$45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description

This position is responsible for assisting in-house technicians in day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience in facility operation of a multi-building portfolio in Cambridge, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in-house technicians with daily operations/rounds of building systems.
  • Perform service calls/work orders under the supervision of a technician.
  • Maintenance in mechanical rooms and rooftops.
  • Filter replacement in HVAC equipment.
  • General cleaning in mechanical spaces and perimeter induction units.
  • Cleanup of equipment in mechanical room and shop.
  • Miscellaneous tasks requiring hand tools.
  • Chiller/Boiler tube punching.


Requirements
  • BASIC computer skills required.
  • Possess some mechanical aptitude.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist in engineering/maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated success in contributing to a team.
