COMPENSATION Starting wage is $27.66, with an increase of $2.00 upon full training completion.

Work Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotation Week 1: Mon/Tue - OFF, Wed/Thur - ON, Fri/Sat/Sun - OFF Week 2: Mon/Tue - ON, Wed/Thur - OFF, Fri/Sat/Sun - ON. IMPORTANT: Flexibility is essential as hours are determined by production needs; candidates must be open to working days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities

The HTST 2 Operator is tasked with managing the pasteurization equipment and processing yogurt and ice cream products. Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up machinery
  • Incorporating sugars and stabilizers
  • Mixing ingredients
  • Cleaning and performing routine maintenance
  • Operating the machinery
  • Utilizing a forklift for ingredient transport (training provided)

The HTST 2 Operator regulates the flow of products into yogurt production, monitoring gauges, sensors, and timers from the control room. Additional duties include performing CIP tasks, preparing tanks, and completing necessary paperwork. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with pasteurization preferred but not mandatory
  • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and speaking English
  • Able to follow directions, work in a team, and independently
  • Adhere to all GMP, safety, and quality standards
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Able to work in hot conditions
