Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Pop-Up Talent. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and executing sales plans within an assigned sales territory and/or account.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our janitorial products, including supplies, equipment, and services.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the commercial sales market.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, and negotiate sales agreements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular sales reports and analysis to management, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years proven sales track record in commercial sales.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the commercial sales market, including industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Employees work in an office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
  • Employees may interact with upset staff and/or public and private representatives in interpreting and enforcing departmental policies and procedures.
