About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our team at Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive cancer care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with cancer or diseases of the blood.
  • Initiate and document appropriate interventions, evaluate and record patient/family response, and prescribe therapies as indicated.
  • Perform procedures and mentor/train other providers as needed.
  • Assess patient/family needs and provide education on wellness and community resources.
  • Consistently incorporate evidence-based research into clinical practice.
  • Complete patient charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
  • Provide case management for patients and their families, and serve as a resource for nursing staff.
  • Provide palliative care for patients and their families as needed.
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Physician Assistant: Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program and current NCCPA certification.
  • At least one year of experience in oncology or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, and current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification.

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000-$135,000, based on education, work experience, certification, and other factors.
