Position Summary

The Loan Systems Support Specialist will be instrumental in delivering comprehensive assistance to users of the Encompass 360 platform. This role emphasizes the automation and enhancement of the Encompass system, aiming to streamline workflows and improve user experience. Additionally, the specialist will engage in various lending initiatives pertaining to both Consumer and Commercial Lending.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Focus on the automation and development of residential lending systems.
  • Manage project tasks including design, coding, testing, and documentation for Encompass.
  • Analyze, design, and modify existing enhancements within the Encompass system.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the mortgage industry and the loan origination lifecycle.
  • Configure Milestones and Personas, develop input forms, reports, dashboards, and implement advanced business rules coding.
  • Maintain familiarity with third-party integrations such as Consumer Connect, Optimal Blue, eClosings, and related plugins.
  • Support managers and users in optimizing the efficiency of lending automation systems.
  • Act as a technical resource for data extraction from loan systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Oversee the administration, modification, training, and troubleshooting of lending systems, including LaserPro, Sageworks, and Numerated.
  • Recommend and implement technological innovations for the department.
  • Communicate updates and changes in processes to ensure clarity among staff and management.
  • Administer user access and manage user accounts within lending systems.
  • Assist compliance officers in implementing software and regulatory changes.
  • Provide technical support and training during departmental meetings.
  • Support internal and external audits as necessary.
  • Offer backup support to team members to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree with 1-5 years of experience in lending systems administration or a related field.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Ellie Mae Administration.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State regulations is essential.
  • Experience with FIS/Horizon is advantageous.
  • Strong project management and communication skills are required.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Team-oriented with adaptability to changing environments.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
