About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team at Electrolux Home Products, Inc. in Springfield, TN. As a key member of our Controls department, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and correcting production equipment controls failures, reducing unscheduled downtime, and performing planned improvement projects to eliminate controls failures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical controls support to Maintenance Technicians, Process Technicians, and Engineers
  • Assist Maintenance with daily support of machine controls downtime issues
  • Ensure immediate controls intervention to solve equipment controls issues and follow up actions
  • Provide daily reports of shift controls activities, issues, and resolution
  • Communicate and cooperate with engineering and operations to maximize production uptime
  • Ensure adherence to safety rules and standards and maintain good housekeeping
  • Be available prior and after shift to ensure timely shift transition
  • Perform scheduled controls improvement tasks and projects as assigned by Controls Engineers

Requirements:

  • Mechatronics Associate's Degree (or similar) from an accredited university
  • 4+ years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment
  • PLC troubleshooting and program updates - Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley
  • HMI troubleshooting - Siemens Comfort Panel or Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk
  • Proficient in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
