Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team at Electrolux Manufacturing. As a key member of our Controls department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to Maintenance Technicians, Process Technicians, and Engineers to resolve machine controls-related issues.
  • Assist Maintenance with daily support of machine controls downtime issues and ensure immediate intervention to solve equipment controls issues.
  • Communicate and cooperate with Engineering and Operations to maximize production uptime and ensure adherence to safety rules and standards.
  • Perform scheduled controls improvement tasks and projects as assigned by the Controls Engineers.
  • Practice continuous efforts to minimize scrap, rework, and controlling costs of expendables and product.

Requirements:

  • Mechatronics Associate's Degree (or similar) from an accredited university and 4+ years of experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in PLC troubleshooting and program updates using Siemens TIA Portal or Allen-Bradley.
  • Experience with HMI troubleshooting using Siemens Comfort Panel or Allen-Bradley FactoryTalk.
  • Proficient in Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
