About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the back and front of the house operations for our food service departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a quality culinary program that meets the highest standards of excellence.
  • Manage financial reporting, including menu development, inventory, purchasing, labor, and food cost controls.
  • Maintain sanitation standards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including hiring, coaching, counseling, training, and personnel management.
  • Conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive culinary management experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
  • Self-starter with innovative thinking and ability to multitask.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and training skills, with a passion for excellence.
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls, food storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Experience with P&L and financial reporting, including budgets, labor costs, and inventory controls.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
  • Ability to lift, bend, and carry up to 40 lbs, with a strong commitment to safety and well-being.
