Position Details:

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Litigation Support Specialist to join our dynamic legal team, providing essential support to three attorneys. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive assistance to litigation attorneys, which includes managing schedules, preparing legal documents, and aiding in trial preparations. This is a full-time role that comes with excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate schedules for multiple attorneys, including arranging appointments, court dates, and deadlines.
  • Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and pleadings.
  • Organize and maintain client files utilizing a document management system.
  • File documents electronically with various courts and agencies.
  • Assist in trial preparations, including organizing exhibits, scheduling witnesses, and coordinating travel logistics.
  • Provide support to attorneys during trials.
  • Transcribe dictation and other audio recordings.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Record time and expenses in the billing system.
  • Create PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Offer general administrative support to attorneys as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation support specialist.
  • Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with document management systems, preferably iManage.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with e-filing and trial preparation processes.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and discretion.
  • Willingness to work in the office three days a week.
